Published by Frederick Hall, printer to The University, Oxford, England. 1918, First edition.

A good copy of this very scarce book in its original form. This copy is inscribed on the title page in the author's hand "With the author's compliments", and comes with an accompanying letter handwritten and signed by the author in 1919, discussing an aspect of numismatics covered in his book, with a reader who had written to him.

Green linen spine with thick card boards. Linen is worn and frayed, and covers a bit soiled and bumped, with a small number sticker to front. Small London bookseller's sticker to inside front cover. Text is very good - nice and clean throughout.
