A very good set of these scarce volumes. Bound in full contemporary tree calf, with red morocco title labes with gilt decoration to spine. Covers worn, bumped and scuffed, but all soundly bound. Previous owner's inscription to first free endpapers.

Text is clean and bright throughout. Some light age spotting to endpapers and title, and occasional light scattered spotting, but overall a very smart set, seldom found in original form.
