A good hardback set with leather spine and corners, and blue cloth over boards. Leather with some scuffing, bumping and wear, but a very smart set overall. Only one volume has an endpaper starting to crack at inner hinge, but all are soundly bound.
Text is clean and bright throughout and the volumes have high quality illustrations both within the text in black and white and as full page colour plates. Some light spotting to endpapers. Some scattered spotting to text in places, and some discoloration to tissue guards. Volume 3 opens with a long fold-out colour frontispiece of London Bridge, which is very attractive.
Text in English.
