Originally published by Hurst and Blackett publishers of London, 1870. An account of lady travellers of their journey from London through Europe, and visiting locations such as Constantinople, Cyprus, through Egypt, Jerusalem, Jordan, The Dead Sea, Damascus and Greece.

Provenance; from the library of the late William St Clair (1937 - 2021), British historian, academic and author. His signature and 2020 date, including the word 'lockdown' in pencil on the first free endpaper, and some minor pencil annotations by him. Please see our other listings for related works.

Published by The British Library, Historical Print Editions, London. Undated, but believed to be 2011?

Essentially in fine, as new condition, with very little sign of wear. Paperback with laminated card covers. At the beginning and end of the book are some endpapers which have a heavy ink coverage black box image which have some crinkling. This is a production flaw.

Text is clean, bright and soundly bound.
