Provenance: Ex-library - Pembrokeshire County Council Library, with cancelled stamp on library label on first free endpaper, verso, and sticker removal marks opposite where borrowing label has been removed, but not too visible. One red marker line to top edge on title page, and reference library number to spine. No other library marks.

The third in the series of Burlington monographs, following Chinese and Spanish art publications.

A good black cloth hardback with gilt motif to front and gilt title to spine. Some rubbing and bumping and sun fading to areas of the cover. 3.5cm tear to cloth at tail of spine. Pictorial endpapers - cracked at front joint. Text is bright and clean throughout, and soundly bound.

Text in English.
