A valuable reference for designers, scholars, and collectors of 19th-century French decorative arts.
Published by Editions Nilsson, Paris. Undated, but believed to be 1929. Presumed first edition.
A good large, folio-size hard cover outer folio containing loose leaf text and plates. Cover in original Publisher's printed yellow cloth and yellow cloth spine over boards. Boards with some soiling and with some scuffing and wear. Around 4cm of spine cloth beginning to crack at outer joint near tail of spine. With original cloth ties to 2 sides, as called for.
Inside the text sections printed on double leaf sheets, and the plates are single sheet. Some mild age-toning throughout with a little darkening to extremities.
