A set of very good brown limp leather volumes. Covers have leather over stiff card boards, with blind embossed decals to front and rear and gilt to spine. Gilt top edge to text block. Pictorial endpapers. Text is clean and bright and soundly bound. Only occasional age spotting. Each volume is copiously illustrated. Some covers have worn areas and small flaws, but still a very good set overall.
