A good red cloth hardback with attractive gilt design to covers. Bumped, rubbed and worn, with faded spine, frayed to head and tail. A little give in spine. Endpapers partially split at joint.

Text is generally clean, but with age toning. Gilt edge to text block. Some gatherings are working loose although still bound, providing uneven gilt edge to block. Illustrated with 200 line drawings.
