Published by Imprimerie Alsacienne, Anct G. Fischbach, 1914, 1st edition. A lovely book with text with black and white illustrations followed by a large section of high quality full colour plates. Uncommon.

A good hardback with brown leather spine and corners. Leather is worn and scuffed and paper over boards is also rubbed and scuffed. Spine with raised bands and gilt titles, with worn leather, particularly at head of spine, but all soundly bound. Blue marbled endpapers.

Previous owner's bookplate to first pastedown - Max Weil. Text is bright and clean throughout, with the contents really striking.
