The first volume combines the contents of 'Peterkin's Roll' and 'Johnston's Roll' which had long been out of print - originally published by Aberdeen University Press. The second volume is newly published information.

Volume I is by  A. Peterkin (1660-1727) & William Johnston (1727-1898), and Volume II is by Sir Robert Drew, Lieutenant-General, Director General Army Medical Services (Roll of Officers in the Royal Army Medical Corps 1898-1960).

Published by The Wellcome Historical Medical Library, London, 1968. First edition.

Near fine navy blue cloth hardbacks. Some marks to edges of text block, but books bright and clean inside. All tightly bound.
