A good pair of red Publisher's cloth hardbacks with embossed portrait roundel to front covers and with gilt facsimile signature. Covers with mild wear and darkening to spines. A little give in the binding. Brown marbled endpapers.

Text is bright and clean with some toning to text block edges. Red tinted top edge. Vol II with gap to gutter before final text page. Each volume with black and white plates near the front.
