A good green cloth hardback with printed illustration on cover surrounded by art nouveau inspired design. Cover with shelf wear and bumping. Endpaper cracked at first inner joint, but all still soundly bound. Webbing showing at one gathering. Presentation inscription of last free endpaper at rear.
Text is nice and clean throughout with mild age toning to extremities. Includes 20 tipped in colour illustrations (including frontispiece) by Edmond Dulac (complete), plus cover image.
