An account of the life of Mirabeau - Honore Gabriel Riqueti, Count of Mirabeau (1749-1791), a leader in the early stages of the French Revolution.
A very good set of 4 volumes. Half calf leather with raised bands, gilt and labels to spine. Marbled board covers. Blue marbled endpapers matched to page edges. Binding is sound. Covers are very good overall with some mild wear and bumping, with some nibbles to the edges (see photos). Text is generally very good, but there is some foxing. Volumes 2 and 4 with some facsimile fold-outs.
