A good set of books bound in dark green limp leather over stiff card. With some scuffing and wear to covers, with bright gilt top edge, and ribbon. Spines are a little worn, but still very presentable, with gilt titles and decoration.
Volume I with previous owner's name to half title. Volume II with sunning to rear. Volume IX is split to webbing after title page and has a marginal tear to top edge where text pages have adhered. Each volume with a guarded, illustrated frontispiece. Overall a presentable set.
