Printed by Order of the Trustees, British Museum, London, 1892. First edition - this was the first of 3 successive volumes produced between 1892-1904. These early hardback catalogues are now uncommon.

A good black hardback with gilt titles to spine. Covers a bit worn and bumped with some fraying to edges, and ring mark to front. Cracking to endpapers with a little give in the spine.

Text is clean and bright throughout, with some strain between gatherings. Illustrated in black and white.
