A very good copy of this rather splendid German text on Hellenic culture. Hardback with brown cloth spine and corners, and patterned paper over boards. Some minor wear and bumping to extremities. Pictorial endpapers and veined marble design to edge of text block.

Text is near fine - clean and bright throughout, and features many interesting high quality images – profusely illustrated in black and white, with some fold-out sections including 2 colour maps, and some very attractive colour plates with printed tissue guards. No foxing. Soundly bound.
