A good set of 2 blue cloth hardbacks with gilt titles to spine. Light bumping to head and tail of spine and with slight sun fading to edge. In two good dustjackets in removable protective plastic. Jackets with some soiling and sun discoloration to spine. With some edge nibbles and tears and a 2cm long hole at rear fold of Volume 2 edge. Volume 1 has price torn off from front inner fold.

Text pages are very good overall and bright and clean throughout. No owner's inscriptions. The large page count means the pages are printed on a thin paper stock. Volume 1 has some page crinkling mainly at the lower edge margin (probably moisture damage at some stage, but no sticky pages) - meaning a good reading set.
