The Poetical Works of Robert Browning, 8 Volume set. Comprises 17 'Volumes' bound in 8 books, complete.

Each book is bound in limp navy blue leather over stiff boards with gilt titles. Covers are rubbed and worn. A good set overall. A few volumes have cracked inner joints, and the books have some give in the spines. Previous owner's inscriptions to first pastedown in each volume - each with a different loving message. Books each have a pictorial portrait frontispiece.

Text is generally clean and bright with gilt top edge to text block. Blue page marker ribbons. Some volumes have tipped in slip before first free endpaper regarding the book pricing. Occasional minor flaws such as page creases. An imperfect set, but priced accordingly.

Weight approximately 1.36kg (the set).
