A finely preserved early Victorian edition of Memorials of the Reformation of Europe, issued by Thomas Nelson around 1850. This volume presents biographical sketches and historical reflections on key figures of the European Reformation, including Savonarola, Gutenberg, Vergerio, and others. The richly decorated red leather prize binding features ornate gilt tooling and all edges gilt, suggesting this was a presentation copy, common for Nelson publications of this era.
