Lean Tales, by James Kelman, Agnes Owens, and Alasdair Gray.

A compilation of short stories by 3 fine Scottish authors, loosely linked along the theme of poverty. The book and jacket design was by Alasdair Gray who also illustrated the 3 authors' portraits heading up each section, each with their facsimile signatures.

Text bright, clean and soundly bound with a little speckling to the top edge of text block. The jacket is now housed in protective, clear, removable plastic.

Text in English.
