A concise autobiographical work by Alasdair Gray, widely regarded as one of the most important figures in modern Scottish literature and art, who passed away on 29 December 2019. The booklet also contains a section entitled 'Replies by Alasdair Gray, to Questions from Christopher Swan and Frank Delaney, August 1982'.

Published by The Saltire Society, Edinburgh, 1988. First edition, first impression.

An as new, fine example of this work. The booklet is bound in printed blue card wraps, and contains 24 text pages. Cover design is a self portrait by Gray.
