Thomas Boston (1676-1732) was a Scottish Presbyterian church leader, theologian and philosopher.

Published by Thomas Turnbull, Edinburgh, 1824. The 'Soliloquy' was originally written in 1699. A scarce edition of this work, first published in 1773. Worldcat locates just 3 copies of this 1824 edition in libraries worldwide.

A good hardback with paper over boards and dark blue reinforcing linen spine with paper label. Covers worn and bumped with frayed and lifting paper edges. 2mm hole in cloth above title label.

Endpapers lifting from boards, but text is clean and bright throughout with mild age toning. Rough cut edges to text block.
