Cover is red cloth over boards with gilt lettering to spine and front. Very good condition with some sun lightening to extremities. Front cover has minor lightened mark to centre right. First free endpaper has remains of bookplate/library plate removal. Joint beginning to split just after signature page and before colour frontispiece. Binding otherwise sound. Text in near fine condition throughout. No foxing.
Dustjacket is in poor condition, split, taped and worn.
