Provenance: This book is from the library of Enid Marx (1902-1998), designer and pattern maker, who is best known for her textile designs used on London Transport buses and trains. Her archive and library were donated to the Victoria and Albert Museum, with the stipulation that books that she had not been personally involved with, could be sold to support the cataloguing and conservation of the archive. This is one of those books.
