An interesting publication featuring work by very prominent writers. This issue included James Joyce, Anthon Chechov, H.G. Wells, Robert Graves, Oscar Wilde, Anne Sexton, Georges Simenon, Picasso, and Jean Cocteau amongst many others. This special edition was dedicated to the memory of Jean Cocteau, with the cover illustrations having been presented by him to Adam shortly before his death in 1963.

Published by Adam International and Curwen Press, London, 1965. First edition.

A good paperback with printed wraps. With some wear and age toning. 

Text is clean and bright throughout, and soundly bound. With minor age toning. Illustrated.
