A good hardback with brown calf leather spine and corners. Marbled paper over boards. Covers scuffed and bumped with wear to edges. Raised bands to spine with gilt decoration and burgundy morocco label with gilt title. Small bookseller's sticker to first pastedown. Soundly bound. Previous owner's signature to first free endpaper. 

Text is generally very good throughout. Plates have some spotting and offsetting spotting to neighboring text pages. Spotting to endpapers.
