An Account of the Infancy, Religious and Literary Life, of Adam Clarke, L.L.D., F.A.S., & C. Written by One who was Intimately Acquainted with him from his Boyhood to the Sixtieth Year of his Age. Edited by the Rev. J. B. B. Clarke, M.A. Volume 1.

Published by T.S. Clarke, W. Simpkin & R. Marshall, John Mason, London, and James Everett, Manchester, and A.C. Baynes, Liverpool. 1833. First edition. This is Volume 1 (of 2) only. The book contains sections listed as book I through Book IV plus Appendix.

A fair hardback with leather spine and corners. Covers are scuffed and shelf worn and the marbled paper boards are untidy and ragged. Inner joints are cracked and open, but book is still bound. Text is good throughout. Some age toning and foxing and marks in places, but a good reading copy. Some corner creasing and first endpaper with vertical crease.

Text is in English.
