Lord Elgin and the Marbles, by William St. Clair, 1967
Lord Elgin and the Marbles, by William St. Clair.
SOLD
Provenance; from the library of the late William St Clair (1937 - 2021), British historian, academic and author. No William St Clair signature or annotation. There are some slight markings, where it looks like a previous owner's signature has been erased from the first free endpaper. Just speculation, but perhaps William St Clair ran out of copies of his own book and had to purchase this copy elsewhere? Please see our other listings for related works.
