A very good full dark green leather hardback in a full leather prize binding from 'Parmiter's Foundation School', with prize label dated to 1892 to front pastedown. Gilt armorial and border to front cover with tooled gilt spine, raised bands and burgundy morocco title label. Some shelf wear, rubbing and scuffing to covers. Some light circular marks to cover and sun faded spine and extremities. Marbled endpapers and marbled edges to text block. Soundly bound. 

Light foxing to blank endpapers. Text is bright and clean throughout and is beautifully illustrated with high quality artwork, making for a very attractive presentation.
