This manuscript is written in the Tai Tham script or Lanna script - also known as Tham or Yuan script.

It comprises 2 x wooden covers, the outer gilded with gold leaf and the inner plain black lacquer. Inside are 20 x double sided leaves inscribed in Thai Tham script. Bound in string. This is a religious text and used by monks in the Thai temple. Exact date unknown

Dimensions: approximately 52cm long x 6.5cm high x 3cm deep.
