Antique Tibetan Prayer Wheel, Bone handle, PW2.

A very attractive authentic Buddhist prayer wheel from Tibet. Consists of a brass/copper alloy handle inlaid with incised yak bone.

The handle depicts a Ladakhi ceremonial mask with a Tibetan Buddhist prayer chant incised on the barrel.

Also on the barrel there is incised decoration of a number of Ashtamangala symbols including a pair of golden fish, conch shell and one other.

Dimensions:
24.5cm long x 3.7cm diameter.

Weight approximately: 146g.
