Outer card covers contain 14 high quality sheets with details of this magnificent 3 volume set. The prospectus is printed on the same hand-made paper as per the final publication. The original bound-in perforated order form is additionally still present, advising that the set would cost 100 Guineas, plus postage (equivalent to around £4,000 in today's money).

Ribbon bound.

Very good overall. The cover has some handwritten pen and pencil annotations and is a little age-worn. The annotations look like reference library markings. Text is nice and clean throughout.
