A very good green cloth hardback with gilt title to spine, and blind embossed decoration to covers. Mild bumping and wear to head and tail of spine. Front Endpaper with some cracking, and some very light spotting to free endpapers. A hint of give in the spine, although all still securely bound. Previous owner's inscription to top margin on title page.

Text is bright and clean throughout, with illustrations and plates all very good. Some dust toning to top edge. Illustrations are of high quality.
