We have an unusual selection of contemporary artworks at the moment. Whilst purchasing another item at auction here in Scotland we were delighted to find that along with it came an artist's folio with a considerable number of paintings and drawings in mixed media.
Until recently we were unable to identify the artist as the works are unsigned, but recent investigations have found that his name is George Taylor Davidson.
He has produced these whilst at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art (which is part of the University of Dundee in Scotland and is a highly respected art school).
These artworks are his submission for entry into the Royal College of Art in London.
The work is very accomplished.
2 x original painting and drawings mounted on artist's polyboard and with clear mylar style covering.
