A very good set of 2 hardback volumes with leather spines and corners. Boards are covered with what appears to be a handmade textured Japanese paper, with related design to endpapers. Mild wear and bumping with a 1cm tear to the leather spine at the tail on Volume 2. Attractive gilt design to spine.
Text is soundly bound and bright and clear throughout, with very occasional page crease.
