A good hardback in full leather binding with speckled design and gilt lined decoration to spine. Covers with some rubbing and bumping. Some scuffed leather losses at tail of spine and rear cover.All still soundly bound. Small booksellers label to rear pastedown (J. Chalmers of Dundee). Endpapers with some light spotting and mild offsetting.

Text is clean and bright throughout. With occasional corner crease. Previous owner's pencil signature to front free endpaper. A very usable copy.
