A fine copy, in a very attractive full grey leather binding, with gilt decoration and raised bands to spine. With marbled endpapers, shiny gilt edges to text block and satin page marker ribbon. Some very minor mottling to the gilt top edge. With Classics of Medicine bookplate to first free endpaper, verso - from the library of Dr James M Leith, and this copy numbered 538. Illustrated.
Text is bright and clean throughout. Soundly bound - looks to be unread. A very smart book indeed, making a handsome addition to any library.
