A good full red leather hardback with raised bands to spine, and gilt titles. Prize binding with gold armorial to front cover and prize presentation bookplate to first pastedown from Banstead School, dated to 1914. Some scuffing and wear to cover and spine is darkened and rubbed. Marbled endpapers with split to gutter after the first free endpaper. Small bookseller's stamp to first free endpaper.
Some spotting to blank endpapers, but text is generally bright and clean, with just occasional marginal edge spotting. Marbled edges to text block.
