William Willett's respected book on Chinese Art was first published in 1965.

This is a pre-publication proof copy and quite likely to be a unique item.

In good condition overall. The softback green cover is worn and stained with some pencil annotations relating to the proofing of the book. The interior text pages have age discoloration but are in good condition. Some page corners are a bit bumped or creased. A few ink proof corrections. 408pp.

Also included is a separate typed copy of the list of plates with a few proofing corrections 
(folded in half with original paperclip).

An interesting and probably one-off item.
