The Honest Ulsterman is a literary magazine from Northern Ireland which was founded in 1968 and ran for 111 printed issues, which ceased in 2003. The magazine then returned in online form in 2014. Whilst focusing on writers from Northern Ireland the magazine developed to include many other international writers.
Published by The Honest Ulsterman, Belfast, 1995. First edition, and the magazine's 100th issue. Also included is 'In Sickness; Poems by Kerry Hardie' - a booklet of 20pp + card wraps, which was included with the HU100 issue.
This issue featured work by many writers, including Seamus Heaney, Michael Longley, Derek Mahon, Paul Muldoon and Medbh McGuckian.
A near fine paperback with printed card wraps. Minimal wear with one very small mark to front cover. Text clean and bright. Soundly bound.
