A scarce publication. This handbook was produced by Liverpool Public Museums to accompany and describe the exhibits from Sassoon's magnificent collection which were shown at the museum.

Green card covers with black printed design to front. Very good overall - a little shelf worn, but all intact. Bound in a metal clasp fitting is the text - in very good condition. Text is nice and clean throughout, with some age discoloration. vi + 74pp + iii of Index of Personal names + List of Specimens (unnumbered but 35pp).

A very unusual and scarce publication.
