A fine copy of an impressive looking book from the National Geographic Society, complete with fold-out map in unused condition - carries 'The Peoples of China' feature and map on one side and a comprehensive detailed map of China on the reverse.

Covers are red faux leather with large silver dragon motif. Text is fine and soundly bound throughout. Previous owner's small address label on foot of half title. Lavishly illustrated throughout. Gilt text block edges and red ribbon. Qing Dynasty dragon robe pattern endpapers. A lovely book.
