Very attractive vintage map of The World in good condition. No rips or tears. Very difficult to find in this condition. Features Gall's Stereographic Projection.  Label to rear canvas annotates the map as "Phillips' Small School-Room Series, World, political - Atlantic Centre. Printed on linen-backed paper.

With original wooden hanging bars and ties. All fixed securely. in good condition - minor age discoloration to extremities.

Published 1969 by George Philip & Son Ltd and Printed in London.

A really striking map of its time - obviously still featuring the USSR and feauturing some older nomenclature alongside the more modern equivalent such as Formosa and Taiwan.
