A good minus blue cloth hardback with blind stamped rules to covers and gilt titles to spine. Bumped and rubbed with a little give in the spine. Cracked endpaper at front inner joint.

Offsetting to endpapers and moderate spotting to pages at front and rear. Otherwise the text is perfectly legible with scattered spotting throughout (mainly marginal). Dust toned top edge and rough cut fore-edge. Spotting to text block edges. Marginal edge tear to final text page, not affecting the text. An imperfect but very usable reading copy.
