Based on the celebrated Atlas Novus and drawing heavily on the pioneering surveys of Timothy Pont, the atlas presents Scotland in extraordinary detail, combining geographical accuracy with rich decorative engraving. Issued in a strictly limited edition of 600 copies, this volume reflects the enduring significance of Blaeu's work as both a landmark of early modern cartography and a visual record of Scotland’s landscape, settlements, and regional identities at a formative moment in its history.
