A good, substantial black cloth hardback with leather spine and corners, with gilt titles to spine. Some scuffs and bumping, and worn leather to spine. The spine has a little give in the binding. Front endpapers split at inner joint. Those at the rear are intact.
Some spotting to endpapers, frontispiece portrait and title page, with mild spotting throughout, but a good reading copy.
