An impressive looking volume which has had a modern rebind of tan morocco leather spine, and marbled paper over boards. With raised bands and gilt decals to spine. Inside there are new endpapers and blanks. All soundly bound.
The initial advertisements section at the beginning has some dampstaining and adhesion damage. The dampstaining continues to the marginal corner areas of the frontispiece and title and does not affect any of the following pages.
The text pages are clean and bright throughout and the fold-out colour map at the rear is in excellent condition and free of tears.
An attractive edition to the library of anybody with an interest in the Caribbean.
