A near fine black leather hardback with lovely blind embossed decoration to covers, raised bands, and gilt to spine. A lovely copy of this high quality and substantial bible, which looks unused. There are no entries to the Family Register pages preceding the New Testament.

There are some small scuffed leather spots from the rear spine joint to the rear cover, but overall a very impressive bible indeed. With gold dentelles to inner covers.

The text is in clean and bright condition, throughout with the illustrated plates well presented. Slight marginal creasing to frontispiece. Occasional scattered spot. Everything tight and secure. Gilt edges to text block are still bright and shiny. With page marker ribbons. A handsome tome.
