Overall, in good condition, despite faults. Cover is in full calf leather, with an improvised spine of the same material used to strengthen the book. Inner joint at rear cover is open. Rubbed, scuffed and bumped.
At both beginning and end of the book are several pages of dense script written in the early 18th Century. Text is age toned, but clearly legible throughout, but with later annotations in pink and blue pencil, and ink at rear index. Some corner creasing.
An uncommon Scottish Bible variant.
