Featuring The Dunciad, a narrative poem by Alexander Pope (1688-1744), known as one of the great English Poets, and the second most quoted author, after Shakespeare, in the Oxford Dictionary of QuotationsThe Dunciad was originally published in 3 different versions from 1728 to 1743. This version was Pope's final version, structured as four books.

A very good copy in a full leather binding and title labels. Some scuffing and shelf wear to cover. Previous owners' inscriptions to endpapers. Approximately 1cm of lower edge of the title page is missing (blank section). Text is near fine - nice and bright for age, and soundly bound.
